Bucharest Airport (IATA: OTP; ICAO: LROP), officially called Bucharest Henri Coanda International Airport, is the main international airport serving Bucharest, in Romania. It is located in Otopeni, about 17 km from Bucharest city centre. There is no direct train connection between OTP Airport and Bucharest city centre, but it is very easy to travel by train between these 2 points because of the good connections. A ride by train from Bucharest Airport to Bucharest city centre should take aorund 45 minutes.

The Henri Coanda Express train is the one connecting Bucharest Henri Coanda International Airport with Bucharest North Railway Station. Passengers have to go to take there a Shuttle bus to the Airport Stop. Tickets for both the train service and the Shuttle Bus are available at the ticket office at the Arrivals area. One single train ticket costs 6,8 lei (1,31 €). Children under 5 travel for free, children between 5 and 10, students and retired persons have a 50% of discount on the train ticket rate.
